Cow Cake

I was asked to make a surprise 21st birthday cake for a girl who grew up on a dairy farm, hence her love of cows. I was just asked for cows and grass but felt i needed to "girlify" the cake a bit so made lots of flowers and butterflies. Natasha likes to feed the ducks with her baby daughter so I added some ducks and a swimming cow for the fun of it.
I wrote the happy birthday message on a "gate" to add to the farm theme. I loved making this cake, it was so much fun! Hope you liked it Natasha, Happy Birthday!
This has given me an idea for a cheeky monkey cake for my nephew, watch this space.

Evie's First Birthday Princess Cake

Baked this for my niece Emma's baby Evie who turned one year old. Evie is a very cute princess so thought a very girlie cake was needed.

Decided to bake very fudgey chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream because its everyone's favourite but also because it would be fantastic to see Evie diving in with her hands and making a chocolatey mess, as all one year olds should!
Happy Birthday Evie. X

Chocolate,chocolate and more chocolate!

Baked this for my neighbour's birthday tomorrow. Its my best ever rich chocolate spongecake sandwiched together with dark chocolate buttercream and decorated with dark chocolate cigarello tubes and ferrero rocher chocolates. YUMMY! If i could dream in chocolate, this would be it. Happy Birthday Adam.
